With yoga’s increasing invasion into mainstream culture, there is a huge demand for qualified teachers. Teaching yoga has now become a new career path. Being able to spread the joys and benefits of yoga is a rewarding profession. As a preliminary step, proper certification must first be obtained. Without this, a teacher will not be able to guide the class well. There are many aspects involved in yoga. More so to be a teacher! It does not revolve around yoga postures alone. The techniques of how to manipulate students into postures are also very important to learn as is good communication skills.
Here at YZ Academy, our Teacher’s Training Course (“TTC”) is taught by the best. The teachers on our teaching team are all professionally qualified, and are regarded as the ‘teacher’s teacher’. Most are qualified as Masters from the original Yoga School from India. Our TTC is tailored to teach students both practical and theoretical aspects of yoga. We feel that only with the knowledge of both aspects can our students become better teachers. Our TTC is based on an international standard module. Our practical training includes in class participation and role playing to expose and prepare our students for ‘real class’ scenarios. We keep the number of students in our TTC small to ensure better learning. In addition, our facilities are modern and luxurious for the comfort of our students. |
